Our story began in 1988
in Sydney, Australia.
The original product in the range, Curash Baby Rash Powder, was invented by a specialist doctor working at the St George Hospital. The medicated baby powder was designed to soothe, heal and help prevent rashes on the skin caused by contact with dirty nappies. The doctor’s wife and business partner developed the Curash brand name and launched the brand for sale in Woolworths.
Curash Baby Wipes were added to the range in 1993, and are now our most popular products with over 11 million packs sold last year.
Over 35 years later, the Curash team are still based in Sydney, where we design and develop our Curash products for Australian parents and their families.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new range of Baby Wipes, set to hit shelves in supermarkets, pharmacies, and online stores in late 2025. Our Curash Simply Water wipes, crafted specifically for newborns, feature a New Formula with 99% purified water and minimal other ingredients, to gently cleanse your baby’s delicate skin.
